Online Giving
Grace Life believes Christians should give financially to the Lord, supporting the ministry God has entrusted us. However, we do not understand giving in a compulsory and legalistic way. What stays from the Old Testament “tithe” is the intent, not the tenth, and giving in this dispensation is “grace-giving.”
Giving must be a grateful and jubilant response to God’s grace, not to gain something from God, but because He has already showered us with all spiritual blessings in Christ Jesus (Ephesians 1:3).
- Our giving should be voluntary (2 Corinthians 8:3,4,8; 9:7);
- It should be systematic and regular (1 Corinthians 16:1,2);
- We should give according to our means (2 Corinthians 8:11,12; 1 Corinthians 6:2);
- It should be a cheerful, generous, and sacrificial giving (2 Corinthians 8:2; 9:7-11).
